F. W. Winter, Inc. & Co. is an established supplier of various grades of low carbon ferro-chromium for a wide range of applications. The company sources lump low carbon ferro-chromium on a global basis.

Low carbon ferro-chromium, either as lump or as Ľ"xD, is used in a number of melting applications which include the manufacture of specialized steels and many super alloys.

The company has developed a unique process for the manufacture of high quality low-carbon ferro-chromium powders with varying size distributions.

Coarser powders of low carbon ferro-chromium, typically 14 mesh x D, are used in the manufacture of injection wires for trim additions in melt shops.

Powders 50x325 mesh and finer are used in the manufacture of welding electrodes, both flux-cored wires and stick electrodes.

F. W. Winter, Inc. & Co.'s low-carbon ferro-chromium powders have superior characteristics such as flow and apparent density.
